RABBI’S STORY OF SYMPLICITY
A man from the United States set out on a journey to visit a famous Polish rabbi at his home in the woods. The visitor was astonished to see the renowned rabbi’s home was only a simple hut with only one room filled with books, plus a simple table and a bench. “Rabbi,” he asked, “where is your furniture?” The Rabbi answered, “Where is yours?” The visitor said, “I’m only a visitor passing through.” “Well so am I,” replied the rabbi.
